Today, May 16, 2009, I celebrated in advance my 23rd birthday. It is a small celebration, only my family and closest friends were invited but as expected, none of my friends came due to some unavoidable circumstances. I cannot blame them if they cannot really come to my celebration. As long as my family is with me to celebrate my most special day, I don't have to worry. I know I will enjoy my birthday, because everytime I'm with my cousins we always had a great time.
Before my party started in the afternoon, I texted my friends, asking them if they will come, one of them texted me that she couldn't make it because she was forced to have her duty in the call center. The most special person for me also couldn't make it, because he had his duty in our response unit. I was a little disappointed because those two people are the ones that I really wanted to be present on my birthday celebration. But I cannot force them to go to my celebration. Instead of feeling bitter because none of my friends went to my birthday, I diverted my attention by singing on the videoke with my sister and my cousins. We really had a great time singing even if we were already a little out of tune. We also drank some liquors and that really made me tipsy. We drank one bottle of vodka and some beer. I don't know how I manage to tolerate those drinks! haha! We drank and sang until midnight and after it we pack up and went to bed. I guess this is one of the happiest birthdays that I had even if my friends didn't came to celebrate with me. Maybe next year I will be able to celebrate it with them... Hopefully!
